Operating buses for events, tourism, and corporate travel. P endorsement required for vehicles over 15 passengers.
🏙️City Transit & Public Bus Drivers
Municipal and regional transit agencies require the P endorsement for all CDL drivers before first dispatch.

Who needs a Passenger (P) endorsement?+
Any CDL driver operating a vehicle designed to transport 16 or more passengers — including the driver — must hold a valid Passenger endorsement. This includes city buses, charter buses, school buses, airport shuttles, and paratransit vehicles that meet the threshold. If you are adding this endorsement for the first time after February 7, 2022, ELDT theory training is required.

Is this course accepted in my state?+

What score do I need to pass?+
You need a minimum score of 80% on the final theory assessment to receive your completion certificate and have your results submitted to the FMCSA TPR.
