What Is Hazmat ELDT and Why Do You Need It?
Since February 7, 2022, the FMCSA has required all CDL drivers applying for a first-time Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement to complete an approved Hazmat theory training course before sitting for the HazMat knowledge test at their state DMV.
This applies in every U.S. state regardless of how long you've been driving. Without ELDT completion uploaded to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry, your state DMV cannot administer the HazMat knowledge test.
DLA Academy is registered on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. When you complete our course, your record is automatically submitted so you can walk into your DMV ready to test.
